Yosemite's Wilderness Symphony

This was a redesign for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Yosemite, located in California. The core design element was based around the fact that Yosemite is a valley nestled in between mountains, so its elevation remains at a high altitude while being inside the park feels like you're below sea level.
(This idea was inspired by my many trips there and on the drive out exiting the valley in the mountains you have to drive down a decline for miles, which just felt so funnily wrong.)

Each page of the hardcover book is 17"x11" (a spread lays out at 34"x11"). The content of the book gets more personal and magical as you get closer to the "valley" (center) of the book, which symbolizes the magic of the Yosemite valley.
